2. Mai 2019 - The Erasmus+ incoming students of the University College of Teacher Education Styria from Spain, Greece, Thailand, Ukraine, Czech Republic, The Netherlands, Hungary, France, Belgium, England and Denmark were invited to a reception with the mayor on the 2nd of May 2019.

This year, the University College of Teacher Education Styria (PHSt) and the Private University College of Teacher Education Diocese Graz-Seckau (KPH Graz) were invited to hold a speech in the town hall of Graz. Vice Rector HS-Prof.in Mag.a Dr.in Regina Weitlaner addressed the international students with her warm greeting words. From the KPH, Vice Rector Prof. Mag. Dr. Friedrich Rinnhofer, M.A. was invited to welcome the students.

One of our international Erasmus students, Maria Ringgaard Møller, took the chance to give a wonderful and above all a humorous speech. "We are putting a lot of effort in the German language, but sometimes we just need time to articulate the words: Schmetterling or Krankenwagen!" and "Meeting different cultures is very interesting, for example when it comes to the differences in dinner time: There is a Spanish dinner time and the rest of Europe dinner time!" This is only a small part of her wonderful speech. Angela Bergink from the Netherlands was invited to speak about her Erasmus experiences as well. Both the students gave their colleagues a warm welcome.

"Come as a guest and leave as a friend!": These words were said by the mayor of Graz, Mag. Sigfried Nagl, as he said farewell to the incoming students from around 60 countries. This reception was a great networking opportunity and meeting place for students from all over the world.
